ColorFeelFul Challenge: Red

This is the first (1st) of seven (7) submission for Bruedance's ColorFeelFul Challenge.

For me, the color red makes me feel lively, passionate, and full of vitality.

Hello again, folks! I'm back! ただいま! ^__^
Sorry for the bit of a long break there. It's been nearly exactly 3 months since I posted, hasn't it? Yeah, I didn't mean to become so inactive but real life obligations beckoned. ^_^;; And I'm not even talking about the holidays.

Anyway, as a means to make up for my inactivity, here is a new (and hopefully very quick) challenge! It's going to be a 7-art piece set with the colors of the rainbow being the ruling theme and my personal emotions that are tied with it. This is completely unrelated to the Pokeshipping Theme Challenge that I'm still doing (at the time of this posting) aside from the subject matter being Ash/Misty. So, don't worry, I haven't abandoned anything and have no intention to do so. :3 I mean, given the fact that I'm almost a quarter away from completing the Pokeshipping Theme Challenge you wouldn't think I'd drop it now of all times, would you? XD No way!

Now, to talk a little bit about the arts you'll see for this 7-part series, they are all going to be Ash/Misty and they are also going to be in poses that match the emotions I feel (duh, Hak-Ki). Actually, the poses I'm choosing for this challenge are based on favorite series of mine throughout the years. Red's posing is based on a pose I've seen in both Ranma ½ and InuYasha promotional artwork. It's this cute back-to-back piggyback where the pair hooks their arms together at the cubital fossa and one person bends forwards thus lifting the other person into the air. I feel that it's a playful pose and have always wanted to draw a pair of characters like that. Too bad I haven't been able to find a proper name for this pose (if there is one). If any of you have an idea or actually know if there's a technical name for this pose, please let me know. ^_^

So, I hope you like this quick and lovely detour and I hope you enjoy the other 6 to come! :)
