This is my forty-fourth submission for my attempt at looneytunerian's Pokeshipping 100 Theme Challenge.
52. Model Sheet: Ash Ketchum Ver. 2
Sooo, happy new year, everyone! :D Here's to another year of being alive and another year of me trying to work on this challenge of pokeshipping themes! Whatever omnipotent power above help me keep my sluggish momentum. Otherwise, I'll never get through this. XD
So, this model sheet was labeled as the 'no hat' version. Initially, what had come to mind was Ash just in his regular traveling clothes (Unova version) but I immediately said to myself that that would've been super boring and cheap since I could just copy-paste the first model sheet. That's when I started thinking of how to change it up and make it more interesting for myself. Lo and behold, I came up with the yukata! :D He wasn't wearing his hat in that episode ("Ghost at Maiden's Peak") and it's different enough where I wouldn't be bored. Not to mention, it gave me practice on my yukata/kimono drawing skills. And my god, I had no idea that I was so out of practice with the sleeves! I couldn't figure out which way they would fold over and it left me nearly pulling out my hair over it. D: Thankfully, out of sheer chance, my mother's bath towel was hung up on the bathroom door and folded exactly as I wanted. Savior in a bath towel, away! XD
Anyway, if you're wondering how I got colors for his geta (sandals), I just basically guessed. Ash's geta may have very well been completely different colors and I could be completely wrong. So, don't blame me if someone uploads an official screenshot and my version isn't correct. I couldn't find one and didn't care enough to hunt for it for hours. XP
