A Collaboratastical Nigh So Fantastical Drawing From 2: Electric Boogaloo! 8D

Hey. Hey hey hey. Hey hey hey. Guess what? I did another collab with LylyRin (now xTheyAteMyTailor on dA). Same method as last time, and even with he same characters. However, the difference is that there's a background! Oh yeah, and it's not a clothing swap. So, here's my finished lineart for the whole thing. I know, once you see it, you'll notice that I did a little bit more than just the lineart but that's purely on my own accord. I'm so used to drawing solely by myself that I got a little selfish. However, I did leave majority of the coloring to Lyly! So, selfishness is not entirely accurate, yeah? XD Anyway, here you go.

I, uh... Well, to be honest, I think I might've gone a little weird with the background. XD Like, probably a lot overboard with certain parts and then underboard (is that even the correct antonym?) with others. ^_^;; I mean, if you look at it then you'll probably be able to tell what I mean. I just hope it's not the worst thing because I was so spotty with my detail-laying.

Anyway, I think my favorite part of drawing this was the foreground cliffside at the bottom there. I liked drawing in all the little cracks and stuff, though I had to reel myself back in quite a few times when I realized that some little additions were too much. So, yeah, you can definitely say I went a little gung-ho with drawing this. XD

As for my least favorite part? The fence. It was a lot of the Pen Tool and copy-pasting a lot of singular parts. And then editing them each individually to make them fit. Lots of micro-managing, to say the least. But I only have myself to blame since I decided on a fence. That technically doesn't even exist. Since I drew the background based on Signal Hill in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. And it isn't even actually the Signal Hill but more of a hillside just down the road of the actual Signal Hill where there's a little museum center dedicated to it, I think. That's what the couple of buildings in the background are supposed to be representing, anyway.

However, I think what I'm most proud of that I didn't even try too hard on is the sky. More specifically, the clouds. Got them to look nice and windswept, matching the kids' windswept hair. :)

And in case you're wondering, the redness on their faces are because of the cold temperature. They're not drunk or embarrassed. XD
