075. Cosplay Time! Sasuke & Sakura



This is my fifty-third submission for my attempt at looneytunerian's Pokeshipping Theme Challenge.

75. Cosplay Time! Sasuke & Sakura (from NARUTO)

Whee, another cosplay theme! This one didn't take much thought as some others have. I knew I wanted to draw more cosplay themes with Ash looking happy or laughing instead of the almost constant grump face that I made him have for most of the other ones. XD That isn't to say that Misty is upset herself in this theme. She is actually just imitating Sasuke's general attitude he had back in Part 1 of NARUTO where he was always "I'm an avenger, I have to train to take down my brother blah blah blah." So, Ash (not to mention Pikachu) is actually laughing at Misty's impression. XD

I will say that Sasuke's leg wrap things actually threw me for a bit of a loop when I originally drew it without looking at a reference of it. So, when I finally decided to take a look, I was like "Holy crap what is with his shin wrap thingamajigs?!" and thus had to do a lot of editing with this theme. Also, I was unaware that the back of the sandals were closed. Seriously. 8I

And yeah, if you're thinking to yourself that I made Pikachu into a weeaboo mascot, don't worry. That was semi-intentional. I like to include the pokemon when I can, and just went with that because I thought it was funny for the weeaboo reason and just in general. So, don't mind me. I'll go do something else now. >.>;;
