This is the eighty-fourth submission for my attempt at looneytunerian's Pokeshipping Theme Challenge.
46. Handcuffed
Now that they have been arrested, Ash and Misty have been put into their prison gear and are being taken to court to get their official sentencing by the judge. How will it turn out? Will the judge be lenient on them since they were technically only accomplices to the crime and may be minors? Or will the judge just file them as they see fit which could be a harsh sentencing? From the look on Ash's face, he doesn't have high hopes... or maybe he's worried about how his mom will react when she sees her only child chained-up and in prison clothes? And as for Misty, she just hopes that Ash doesn't give up on everything despite their current situation. Let's see what is to come with these two. Stay tuned!
So, against my impatient judgment, I decided to upload in the natural sequence instead of 'just what I have completed at this point'. And as you can see, like I had said in "Arrested," I didn't make this and the next theme redundant of #45. So, don't worry, it will look like an actual progressive story taking place!
I'm actually pretty pleased with myself for doing that much, even though I know some people may not like sketched artwork and would prefer fully colored, finalized-looking art. But what I'll tell you is that drawing themes like this is way less stressful for me than if I were to digitally ink and color everything. And by 'everything' I mean every theme in this challenge. However, that doesn't mean I'll only draw the remaining themes like this. Some may and some may not, it all depends on my mood at the time and the idea I have for the theme at hand. What I will say is that the last theme I will do for this challenge will mimic the first theme I did back 5-6 years ago. I want to make it like bookends and match each other in style and scale. The only thing I'll have to figure is what will take place in the actual theme itself. XD But that'll be a brainstorm for another day. I still have like... 13 themes before that last one to brainstorm and draw. So, I probably won't be thinking about it for a while. :)
Anyway, onto the next theme!
