049. In Jail

This is the eighty-sixth submission for my attempt at looneytunerian's Pokeshipping Theme Challenge.

49. In Jail
And here we are with the current state of their lives. After having been taken to court, sentenced for their crimes, and sent their appointed prison, Ash and Misty are now to live life as inmates, locked in a cell for however long they are meant to stay. And while the future may be uncertain on whether or not they'll survive this chapter in their lives, at least they won't be alone in it. They're together and that's all they could hope for now.

So, yeah, not the happiest ending to this short story but when I said I took liberties, I meant it. If you've ever watched a show that documents actual prisons or even fictional stories set in a prison, you know that inside, they separate the inmates by gender. Women and men do not stay in the same sector of the building, let alone the same cell. But for the sake of trying to keep these themes noticeably Pokeshippy and also challenging myself a little by drawing a perspective shot with distant figures, I decided to bypass that little segregation fact. It may bother some who may like solid realism in fanworks but whoever said that fiction had to be exactly like non-fiction? XD

With that, I have only 14 more themes to go before I finally complete this 100 theme challenge! :D Will I complete this year or will it bleed into 2018? Who knows! I don't even know! Heck, I barely even know which theme I'm going to tackle next! XD Maybe #36-39 with the whole Air Time! setup? Or how about the biker gang themes #11-13? Or perhaps even the remaining stragglers between #65-89? Only time will tell~ And until then, I'll catch you later! :D See ya!
