037. Prince Goldenrod and Mistina the Warrior

This is the ninety-first submission for my attempt at looneytunerian's Pokeshipping Theme Challenge.

37. Prince Goldenrod & Mistina the Warrior
I actually drew this a couple months ago but had only colored it a few days ago. The reason why I'm mentioning this is because the succeeding theme (#38) looks notably different, to where it might be a distraction for some. So, just putting up a warning right here for anyone following this in chronological order. ^_^;;

Now, onto the theme itself, I guess. (Just as a warning, I really don't have a lot to say about all this.) So, I thought a bit on what I wanted to do for these two themes as I wanted them to be matching but not exactly the same. That's when I got hit with the idea that I always wanted to draw this kind of outline design with a circular framed background. Which, as you can see, I went with wholesale.

The plant that's used as the frame is supposed to be laurel but I don't know how accurately I drew them to actually be identified as such. So, yeah, now you know. And in case anyone is wondering where Togepi is (since it was a part of the episode and all), I just plain forgot to add it in. It wasn't until I fully completed this theme that I was like, "Oh yeah... Togepi existed in this episode. Whoops!" It was such a non-entity at the time that I just didn't remember to add it in. Not to mention that I forgot Pikachu's hat as well! ^_^;; Basically, when I did all the linework for this theme, I didn't remember a lot of the finer details. Just the basics for Ash and Misty. Oh well.

And that's it for this one. Onto the next theme!
