ColorFeelFul Challenge: Green

This is the sixth (6th) of seven (7) submissions for Bruedance's ColorFeelFul Challenge.

For me, the color green makes me feel trust, love, and anticipation.

Alright and we're back, folks! :D Come to find out that it only took me a little over a week to work on these last two themes! It's a new record if I do say so myself. ;) Of course, I'll probably not keep this up when I finish this color challenge. ^_^;; Seeing as I have over twenty-odd themes to complete for the Pokeshipping Challenge. Ooh boy. ^_^;;

Anyway, the color green is a very vibrant and inviting color to me. I feel like green can mean trust, which is why Misty is leaping into Ash's arms because she trusts that he'll catch her without a doubt. And from the looks of it, he does! :) And with trust comes love, and not necessarily romantic love. Parental love, sibling love, platonic love, friendship love, romantic love, self love, etc. I think it's because green is a sign of life and health in nature that it makes me associate it with love. Love, as I see it, is a positive force that comes along with living a healthy life. For one cannot be of sound mind and body if they do not have love of some capacity. It is essential to at least love yourself if nothing else, and if you love yourself then there will be others who can love you and show you that love.

Another feeling I get is anticipation; the feeling of excitement for when you're about to start something great. Whether it's a new job, a new city, a new school, or even the beginning of a journey through a new region, it's that feeling that you can't wait to see what's out there and what will happen and what you'll see. So many new things you'll get to experience that you just can't wait to get out there and feel it for yourself! So, yeah, anticipation.

The posing for this theme is inspired by CardCaptor Sakura, specifically the official anime artwork made for the second movie that was published in an anime magazine (I suspect Newtype but I'm not entirely sure). It depicts the end result of the very last scene of the second movie where Sakura leaps across a magically-made threshold to Syaoran because she wants to hug him and be in his arms regardless of how quick that part of the staircase will come back. Sakura trusts that she'll make it across the threshold (with the help of the Jump card) into Syaoran's embrace and trusts that he'll catch her with no doubt. ;) (And yes, I repeated myself to make the point.) Sakura and Syaoran are one of my favorite anime couples of all time because of how wonderful and perfect their relationship is. Starting out as begrudging rivals, their amicable friendship slowly shapes over time and it's only at the end of Season 2 of the anime that we see the start of a change in affection between them. Syaoran is the first of the two to really feel the change but doesn't actually enact upon those feelings because he knows Sakura was in love with Yukito at the time. And when she finally did confess and subsequently rejected, he didn't use that as a chance to try and take advantage of Sakura at one of her more vulnerable moments. He stood in support of her, helping her nurse her broken heart and only when he found out that he was going to be leaving for Hong Kong that he finally confessed his feelings. Now, the anime decided to make the second movie's focus be Sakura confessing her feelings back but in the manga, she actually tells him right as he's leaving on the bus to the airport. The last few pages take place a year or two later as both kids are in middle school, where Syaoran shows up out of the blue, saying he has made permanent residence in Tomoeda and that he and Sakura can finally have their happily ever after. It's... gah, it's just so lovely and wonderful and anyone with the money to afford it should buy the series in both mediums since the anime adds so much to the story that wasn't in the manga. (Sorry for the ramble. ^_^;; )

So, up next is the final color theme! I hope you like it as much as I do and don't worry, you won't have to wait too long to see it. ;)
