This is the seventy-third submission for my attempt at looneytunerian's Pokeshipping Theme Challenge.
18. Team Rocket Grunt Outfits
We now return you to your regularly scheduled program. ;) So, now that we're finished with the ColorFeelFul Challenge, we can set our sights back on the still ongoing challenge at hand! I bet some of you guys missed this theme challenge, don't lie. ;P
Anyway, I randomly decided to work on this theme after skimming over the current state of the theme list and wanting to do a theme that was sitting by itself, nestled between finished themes. And since I already knew what pose I wanted to do for this (following the pattern and all), I knew this wouldn't be too hard to complete. Especially since the coloring is lazy rainbow-esque gradient layer set on "multiply." XD I don't know, do any of you guys think I was cheating with these themes and using gradient overlays? At first I just chose to do it because I thought 'why not?' and now I'm just following my own pattern, but I'm not sure if it was the smartest thing to do. I mean, I don't think it detracts from the art itself but then again I'm the original artist who's been staring at this fanart for hours and hours and has lost all recognition sense of it (like when you hear a word too many times in quick succession that it no longer sounds like what it means). Tell me what you think, if you're willing.
(Can I also add that I forgot to add the pokemon only after scanning this drawing? So then I had to re-scan it after quickly sketching in the above pokemon? Yeah, that's why they may look rushed and slightly out of place. ^_^;; )
With that out of the way... I think I've said all I need to say about this theme. :) There really isn't much else to add (except that Ash's left arm gave me serious trouble in matching in proportion to his right grrr). So, I hope you enjoy this theme as well as the future ones to come! See you then! :D
