ColorFeelFul Challenge: Yellow

This is the fifth (5th) of seven (7) submissions for Bruedance's ColorFeelFul Challenge.

For me, the color yellow makes me feel joy, light-hearted, and optimistic.

See, I told you the next color theme was going to be a lot happier! :D And here it is! The typical color casting of sunshine itself, Yellow! Y'know, despite how positive the color may make one feel, there's still the fact that yellow can also be an eye-burning color. Like, even I'm having a hard time looking at this theme because of the saturation... and I'm the one who chose it! @_@;; (Takes me only one time to learn my lesson, though.)

Anyway, so like indigo, I associate the color yellow with daytime. And in daytime, some people don't feel like they're left alone with their own anxieties and isolating thoughts since majority of other people are awake and moving around and doing things. So, having people that one loves and who care about them being conscious to rely upon, hopefully can keep those thoughts at bay. Not to say that in daytime I never have those negative feelings (some days I do) but it's easier when the world around me is literally not dark and quiet. Life seems to feel more alive in daylight and generally more optimistic. You can get more things done in daylight, you can see things better, and it feels like there's more options to choose from. Like I said, yellow in part reminds me of positivity.

So, the pose this time around is based on the iconic hug between Pazu and Sheeta from Studio Ghibli's Laputa: The Castle in the Sky. When I first watched that movie, it was so simple and wonderful and the characters were so much fun and so lovable. Sheeta and Pazu especially were great and I loved them with all my heart. So, seeing that hug for the first time just brought a great big smile to my face as they laughed, relaxed and enjoying being on the great big castle in the sky. It was such pure joy for them at that moment that I knew I had to use that for this theme. It was just so perfect of a choice that how could I decide against it? I love that movie, those characters, that relationship, and (of course) Pokeshipping. Just... so perfect. :)

Only two more themes left of this challenge! Hope you're excited to see them when I finally get them out (whenever that may be). :D
