61. With Pikachu and Togepi
So hey, those of you who read my description for the previous theme? Yeah, this is the drawing that I originally wanted to post for the halfway mark. You all may now laugh and cringe at the idea of such a mishap I would've made upon releasing this one as the halfway mark.
Y'see, the reason I went with the colored pencil medium is because I wanted to mimic my drawing for Theme #67. Personally, I don't think it went very well. Might've been because I didn't color it full enough or something. Like, compared to Theme #67, the color is too light. So, maybe I didn't push the pencils down hard enough. I don't know. ^_^;; I definitely don't feel like this is one of my better (not even best) colored pencil attempts. Togepi seems to have come out fine but Ash... Ash, I am so sorry for not doing you justice.
Maybe one day, down the line and when I have a better idea on how to tackle colored pencils, I'll try to redraw this theme again to give it proper justice. However, that day is definitely not today. ^_^;; It's probably not even a day within the next 6 months. Heck, it might not even be a day sometime next year! Who knows! But I'm hoping it'll be a day one day. So, see y'all next time.
