This is my fiftieth submission for my attempt at looneytunerian's Pokeshipping 100 Theme Challenge.
71. "You Must Be Crazy!"
Let's continue this amazing celebration of 50 themes done with some emoticons! 8D Yaaaaay!! ^______^ I am so happy that I've made it to the halfway point! It's such a milestone, especially given the length of time it's taken me to reach this point! I mean, seriously, 2+ years?! That is nuts! Nuts for the fact that it's taken me that long. I mean, shouldn't I have reached 50 waaaay before then?
To be honest, I have not a clue. I want to say that I should've but at the same time, since I know myself so well, I'm going to have to say that this is probably about right. Like, I'm almost not surprised that it took me this long. Give or take a few weeks. XD
So, anyway, let's focus on the actual theme at hand, yeah? At first, I was intending to post something completely different for #50 (and no, it wasn't the actual Theme #50 since that's been done for some time now) but it was upon looking at it that I thought it was a bit lackluster for how I tackled it. (You'll see what I mean when I finally upload it.) So, I ended up taking one of the other drawings I had done right at that moment and this is how that drawing came out. I chose this one also because of the title as it feels appropriate to my current state of affairs with this theme challenge. Like, I sometimes think that someone out there might think that exact quote when looking at my progress and goal. XD
But yeah, that's the whole reasoning for the theme choice. Oh, and if you're at all confused by pink glowing around Ash & Misty, it's supposed to be a heart shape around them with another heart going through the middle. Like, those Japanese romantic fanarts where it's 2 characters standing/interacting with each other and there's this red string floating around them that shapes into a heart somewhere in the middle of the shown string. It's kinda common. In fact, I believe I drew that for one of my Persona couple fanarts I did... Yeah, I did. It's the first fanart in the post shown here! That's the kind of heart I'm talking about. So, yeah, that's the middle glowing bit on Ash and Misty up there. Hope that clears up any confusion. ^_^;;
