002. Ash Ketchum

This is the second submission for my attempt at looneytunerian's Pokeshipping 100 Theme Challenge.

2. Ash Ketchum
Age: 10 years
Goal: Pokémon Master
Interests: Pokémon! (And maybe a certain redhead...)
This is Ash Ketchum, a young boy from Pallet Town in the region of Kanto. He's ambitious, energetic, knows right from wrong, and a bit reckless when it comes to danger! His dream is to one day become a Pokémon Master, though unclear on what exactly it takes to be one. However, the uncertainty of the path which he has decided to travel doesn't stop him and since then, he has traversed 5 different regions in whole! He has met countless people and made true and lasting friends along the way, all of which he'll never forget. Currently, he is exploring the land of Unova with a verbose connoisseur-in-training and a wild girl who dreams of becoming a Dragon Master.

For this theme, I decided that simplicity was best and went with a decisive pose against white background. The white background (or lack thereof as some would call it) is so you don't get distracted away from the focus, which is Ash and Pikachu. Speaking of, I decided to put Pikachu in the picture for the simple fact that you rarely see either without the other. Not to mention, if you asked anyone who's ever heard of or seen the anime to name one thing they remember of Ash, they would most likely say Pikachu. It might also be due to the fact that I'm a bit of a stickler to canon and just couldn't imagine drawing bread without its butter (Ash and Pikachu, respectively). So yeah, you can chalk it up to my semi-anal retentive behavior. ^_^;;

Something I wanted to point out here, I thought it would fit well if I followed the list by putting up the pictures of Ash and Misty before setting off on doing the rest in random order. Like part of an introduction to the whole thing and its subject material. After I upload my submission of Theme #4, though, it'll be unpredictability from there on out! Onto the next!
