This is the seventeenth submission for my attempt at looneytunerian's Pokeshipping 100 Theme Challenge.
20. Cosplay Time! Bonnie and Clyde
And so, the crossplaying continues with Misty showing complete dominance again. :D If there's one thing I love more than crossplay, it's the woman showing dominance in the relationship. In the good way, mind you, and the comedic way. XP It just gives me so much joy when a woman takes charge and is completely at home with it, but that may have to do with the fact that I also have double X chromosomes. ;P Personally, though, I see Misty as definitely a girl who'd take charge in the relationship, and I don't think I have to explain why. XD Misty truly is my favorite character from the TV show, no doubt about that.
Now, about this drawing... Well, I can tell you that I had it written the outline for it a while ago with the rest of my plans/outlines. The only thing I had written down, though, was the pose. I knew I wanted Misty carrying Ash almost caveman style where he was nearly slung over her shoulder but not quite. Honestly, I don't know what you call that pose... The one-arm carry? The not-quite-caveman? (Or in this case, 'cavewoman'? XP) If any of you know or have a good name for it, go ahead and leave a comment. You don't need an LJ account to do so, so don't worry about that. :3
Oh yeah, and I know I've said this before, but the background for this picture really does remind me of a soda commercial. XD I know it's to do with the curves and colors since they may or may not resemble a certain soda company. >.>;; I was trying to go for semi-70s as I used screenshots from the 1967 movie, "Summer of Love," as reference for the design. It didn't come out at all like the actual font used in those screenshots, but at least it didn't come out looking like a complete fail. And no failure means good things to me. 8D
(And no, I don't know why that money is blank, maybe it's not real money? 0.0 Or maybe I was just too lazy to draw in details on those bad boys? ... Yeah, it was because I was a lazy hag. 8D By the way, kids, don't you think that satchel is a tad small? Do you really want to call this a 'big heist' when you probably stole only about $20 in small bills? ... Actually, I have no idea if those are small or big bills, so maybe they stole over $1000 and we don't realize it? Who knows! 8D)
