This is the third submission for my attempt at looneytunerian's Pokeshipping 100 Theme Challenge.
3. Misty Waterflower
Age: 10-12 years
Goal: Water Pokémon Master
Interests: Water Pokémon, and a certain young Pokémon Trainer... maybe.
Misty is a young girl who dreams about becoming the greatest Water Pokémon Master there ever was! Impatient, a bit of a tomboy, and with a fiery temper to boot, Misty is more than willing to show someone a thing or two if they offend her in any way. However, she isn't just someone ready to blow her stack; Misty is also a very loving and caring person who will come to anyone's aid no matter what. Just so long as there are no bugs involved. Or carrots. Or peppers for that matter.
After 3 seasons of traveling with Ash, Misty was requested by her sisters to take over as Cerulean's Gym Leader and has since stayed in that position. She was the first person Ash ever met on his journey and remains a dear and loyal friend.
Like my submission of Ash, I decided to go with a simple drawing of Misty with her Azurill against a white background. I would say it came out a lot better than Ash's because I didn't use my 'lower' quality markers that leave streaks. Though, there was some bleeding like with my Ash drawing, so it wasn't 100% perfection. (By the way, Azurill was added in because like Ash, Misty is rarely seen without a pokemon in her arms. However, unlike Ash, Misty isn't technically remembered for her pokemon partner but more for herself. So, you could say I added it for symmetry along with technical canon. XD)
Also, if you're wondering why I didn't draw Misty in her Kanto or Hoenn outfits, it's because of two reasons: One, there are already themes for outfits (#5-7) and Two, I believe Misty wears this most often now when she isn't battling trainers for the Cerulean Gym Badge. It isn't a traveling outfit, but it's what I remember from her episodes in the spinoff series, Pokémon Chronicles.
